Stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and other dysfunctional emotions can negatively impact your performance and productivity, which in turn, can stop you from attaining your professional or personal goals. Research has shown that chronic negative stress and anxiety often leads to poor concentration as well as health issues such as higher blood pressure, insomnia, and sadly increasing cases of burnouts. Our mental and emotional well-being also impinges on inter-personal relationships with friends, families and co-workers.
As a professional life and executive coach, I use a systemic approach that is solution-focused and action-orientated, providing greater awareness of choices and resources. This is a collaborative process that can lead to pragmatic changes and empowerment, addressing issues such as self-sabotage, work-life balance, priorities, self development goals, and discovering one’s life purpose.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is an evidence-based approach, that is particularly effective at helping individuals overcome negative self-beliefs and avoidance strategies, as well as stress and anxiety in a relatively short period of time. Scientific research on CBH has shown conclusively that combining Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), clients showed greater improvement than 70-90% of clients receiving CBT alone.
Using the analogy of planting a sapling, the general process of building resilience is as folllows:

As everyone responds to stress, anxiety and other challenges differently, I use a tailored approach, integrating both systemic coaching, CBH, Mindfulness, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) in a selective manner. Typical consultations are between 5 to 8 sessions or an intermittent basis depending on agreed objectives and I offer both online and in person coaching sessions.
